i'm alive

So I guess I've been gone for a while. Does anyone still check this thing? That is, except for the himmlerophiles, who are forever?

But I think this is worth posting, even if everyone has seen it already, because it's so funny/appalling:

Stephen Colbert interviews Congressman Westmoreland
.

At the very least, the good Congressman isn't writing laws. As though he could write at all.

Hey Tamara,

I thought you might be interested in my company's new political research project where you can track the media coverage of such brilliant members of Congress as Mr. Westmoreland. This content will bring custom news headlines from over 1500 sources, refreshed three times a day, automatically. You can also add graphs that track who receives more media coverage, and find out what issues they are talking about. Use the graphs to follow trends in news coverage and see these results reflected in polling numbers.

Below is an example of how you can easily add this content for free. You can also customize headlines and graphs for your site even more.
I'll follow up with you in a couple of days to see what you think.

You can add any graph into your blog page by inserting the following tag.

To find the image URL, right click on the any image and click properties. Then copy/paste the Address (URL):
Example

Thanks,
Tai

Is anyone reading? Yes.

I stumbled on your blog when looking for an image of sopes on google. You're a wonderful writer with a very fined tuned sense of irony a great eye for the piquant detail, and just an overall interesting voice. Loved the "four dumb things I believed as a kid," among others...

Write short stories. The world needs them.
